It's really bizarre to me that Blum has just swept his dodgy past under the rug, even though I'm pretty sure he was only in Alt-Furry for clout. Most people who leave still end up seeking clout by self-flagellation for their past misdeeds. Blum just acts like it never happened. Even if he were to try and say that he never said anything racist, he still was openly chummy with people who were openly racist and didn't have a problem showing it. And it's not like it was one or two people. It was this entire group.

Are we to believe he was operating on levels of irony that us mere mortals cannot comprehend?

He still uses "autism" as shorthand for "anything I don't like", doesn't seem like he's trying to fit in with the woke crowd, or if he is he's super bad at it. Obviously he's trying to clean his image to extent, but seems he cares about already tolerant to everything "centrist" furries more than the popular woke kids.
