The main issue we do have is we know there's historical imbalances, and against the black community in particular these can be seen and writ large. The Greenwood Riots I mentioned many, many pages back had that "blind justice" rule that it was all the blacks fault that 500 white guys burned down Black Wall Street and it was definitely a defensive act where whites were dropping incendiary bombs from biplanes.

Now, the smart thing to do, of course, is recognise historical discrimination and apply the blind lady's principles properly.

SJW logic is just to tilt the scales in the opposite direction as its definitely poverty and society at large that drives people to criminality rather than education or culture.

My problem with the whole riot was that it's about black people. Sure, you can have a discussion about whether police needs a reform or not, but there is definitely no significant bias against black people. Their narrative was a lie from the get go.

Although that is also true, the more the spark that started the fire gets discredited the more it kills peoples violent and vocal support of the movement in whole even if it was based on other lies. "Shit I dont want to get arrested over a druggie who was going to die anyways" vs "this is a noble cause the cops killed him"

Mostly it seems from the streams, they were burning books last night, and surrounded a car that would fire "warning shots" at them after being surrounded but unless something big happens and/or the trail is over I don't expect much to happen, last night Lennon would have killed him self in boredom and embarrassment over his so called "supporters". The "Commies" were advertising for some rib joint, how capitalistic of them.

"leave your politics at the door" may have been a viable approach in ages past, but in current year, politics is actively pushing into every single public (and, increasingly, non-public) space possible. this shit infests everything, and fending it off seems like a complete impossibility.

Leftists of the oversocialized type tend to be intellectuals or members of the upper-middle class. Notice that university intellectuals constitute the most highly socialized segment of our society and also the most leftwing segment.
