To these people a good story means every character is a fag and/or tranny and the plot is them destroying cis heteronormative power structures. Normal people don't want to see that shit they they co-opt established media to push their agenda.

It's fucking ridiculous dude, this diversity cross over shit is pathetic and nobody on either side can enjoy the outcome. It's like they're trying to faggot-wash every white straight character out of existence.

There was this show that aired on Showtime from 2000-2005 called Queer as Folk, and it was written by 2 gays guys, for gay people, and it was one of the most fantastic shows I have ever seen, because those writers had a very clear audience and a very clear message that they wanted to make.

It spoke about every facet of our lives, covering every age range, every type of gay dude, all the fears we have like growing older, the struggles of coming out, dealing with drug addiction, body issues, the need to find forgiveness for the people who inflicted pain on you, to be better than them, the trails of finding a stable relationship.

It had it all. The characters where flawed, because everyone is flawed, and it actually taught me a lot about how I should carry myself through the trails I would face. It was a lesson of wisdom from 2 older men who had something to say, targeted to a very specific audience.

Now today, what we have instead is faggots who are perfect in every way, and it's the society around them that is flawed, and they're the victims of that society. Limp dick shit.

Straight people who watch that shit feel alienated, and gay people who watch it learn nothing of worth. There's going to be a lot of shit, I think, you're going to need to deal with if you end up being a faggot, and the better you are equipped to deal with the reality of that the better off you'll be. And faggot-washing all our stories is not going to help these kids, and neither is co-opting pre-existing characters and trying to jerry-rig them into a story that doesn't work.

Gay stories have to be very specifically written for gay people, because gay people are gay people, and straight people are straight people.

And it shouldn't be a fucking issue, because there are a LOT more straight people than gay people. And besides, there has never been more of an opportunity for more niche content today than with services like Netflix. There's absolutely no reason to be faggot-washing pre-existing stories.

Which is idiotic and only describes very bad art. Great art is universal. At its best it shows us how even people as different from us as people can be are still the same in some fundamental ways that matter and that they deserve consideration just as we do.
