In other news, a Virginia judge just slammed the City of Richmond for its handling of the mess. Apparently they have gone through 3 police chiefs in as many months, the police were told to do nothing to stop the rioters, and the Mayor has been using "Emergency Powers" to remove confederate monuments for being a threat to public safety. The Judge essentially said the Mayor and the Rioters were in cahoots and he cannot use Emergency authority to deal with an "Emergency" his own actions caused.

Depending on how things pan out in 2020, I could definitely see a lot of pissed off Virginians voting against the Dems as payback for Northam's policies and the handling of the riots in Richmond. If Northam was allowed to run for a second term in 2021, I honestly think he'd lose to the GOP in 2021. But since Virginia only allows governors to a single term, who knows how it will go?

If the Proud Boys were formed in 2020 in response to this insanity or even in 2019 as a response to the insanity in Portland after Rose City Antifa tried to kill Andy Ngo, they may have had at least a slim fighting chance of not being defanged on arrival by the bigwigs.

This is the eleventh hour for both sides, and the one thing I've learned in this sea of insanity is that even the doomer predictions that seem to make the most sense could very well end up not coming true at all. If your doomer predictions end up being premature and we do get a backlash against Woke Leftism happens in the 2020's, it's the thing that's at first slow and miniscule but then it's big and happens all at once.

They really are doing everything they can too piss everyone off. Fairfax Counties recently boneheaded move to keep the Public Schools closed in the fall while simultaneously teaching Critical Race Theory to elementary school kids set off a nuclear bomb in an otherwise very solidly blue voting area. This on top of the shenanigans that happened in Newport News and Richmond last month, and the new gun laws and regulations prior to that.
Its hard to say though. All the "official" polls show the Democrats actually picking up support in the last few weeks, but that just defies all logic. We really won't know until November. I would be shocked and horrified if an actual majority of people were okay with what is going on.
