I'm on a kick of studying the 2016 election this week.

The Democrats keep saying that Trump is lying to working class America, saying he can get their jobs back and he can't.

Meanwhile, the DNC is offering them literally nothing. It's basically "your jobs are gone forever so deal with it."

Shockingly they voted for the guy that at least offered them hope.

At the risk of sounding all tinfoil-hatted, I think Trump is secretly backing Kanye to run third-party so he can sink Biden in 2020 and maybe prep him for a 2024 run under a major party

Seriously, if Kanye actually runs as a Republican candidate in 2024 and isn't just doing some more manic attention-whoring, he might actually be the first GOP president in the post-1964 era to get more than ten percent of the black vote.

Still, if they ran Caitlyn Jenner, it'd be hilarious since Jenner is a conservative Republican and has been since the 1980's.

If the Woke Left is still hanging around in 2024, I'd expect them to start going full TERF in that event.

If fucking Kanye West Perot's the election so hard that Virginia goes red somehow I would be literally laughing for weeks. Hell, him splitting the vote in even one state like the write-in choice of Harambe did back in 2016 would be hilarious.

In all seriousness we'll see if he is actually in this election for real or if this is all a PR stunt by him.
