The problem is thanks to the full on support of these institutions either through callow silence or misguided support this mind virus was deployed brilliantly. I would not necessarily blame China specifically, though I am certain they are trying to accelerate things. Honestly, I think the one Conspiracy theory i subscribe too is that Intersectionalism, social justice, critical race theory, whatever, was a deliberate subversion campaign unleashed by the Soviet Union to subvert the United States through a long game.
The people who started teaching this nonsense were Russian agents who knew exactly what the end result could be, but at this point the entire mess has become a self perpetuating monster that has perverted so many institutions. Especially Americas elite universities, which coincidentally also provide most of the work force for senior government and corporate management.
We are still at the point where normal people can excise this cancer at the ballot box. And I truly hope we do. Because human societies have long had other ways of excising bad ideas and the people who support them. None of which are pleasant, and if deployed would probably destroy America just as quickly as these fools wish it to be, though not necessarily in the way they planned.
*edit* and the proof really is in the pudding. Look at how violently Russia attacked any effort for Social Justice theory to be deployed in their society. And it was violent. Any who even tried to organize it get arrested and random supporters who advocated for it got their asses beaten. Putin has had zero tolerance for it, to the point every book on Critical Race Theory and so on is banned in Russia as a threat to the State. That should say something.
