Unfortunately she’s deleted a lot of her old art and seems to draw more for other fandoms nowadays (including that Osomatsu-san anime that seemed to be popular amongst the Tumblr crowd for a while) but here is her art blog, she’s still drawing in that same style and making characters darker skinned.

I’ve noticed pretty much any character who eats a lot gets the fat treatment in fanart, even if they weren’t originally drawn that way... lots of fat Sailor Moon art out there as well.

It’s more like the concept of exercise, or that exercise has any correlation with losing/maintaining weight, that’s foreign to them. Because if they eat a lot and get to 300+ lbs, then surely the same applies to the character who has a high calorie intake but spends their days doing vigorous activity.

Although I do find it kinda funny that they do always pick the characters who eat a lot to be fat, but will scream bloody murder if you so much as imply that their weight is because they eat too much.

they usually insist that fat people can be super athletic as well, and use the less than one percent of the population of fat olympic athletes as an example. there's also that gif of a fat dude doing some acrobatic shit that they use as an argument, but i really doubt the average obese tumblr artist can do 10 situps without crying
