Oh, so now we have TWO developers that spend more time on drama than working on their game?

Funny how Alex's worst enemy is a literal clone of himself with a retarded profile picture.
Like I mentioned before, Alex partly created YanSim as a means to an end, that "end" being sticking it to Mike Z and proving that he's a competent programmer after all. Now the Lovesick devs are creating their own game to prove Alex that they can execute the concept of YanSim better than he possibly ever can. The vicious cycle continues...

This is what happens when compliments and applause are the only fuel for your artistic integrity. Artists that are born and bred on nothing but flattery will burn out their personal desire to make art and rely solely on praise to get the job done. He's frantically obsessed with seeing what other say about him so he can inflate his ego and cram in some shit once in a while. This is probably why leaving the Internet is not an option for him, whether he stays or goes he's eventually gonna go completely stagnant.
I know this is the thousandth time that I've compared John K to Alex, but John nowadays relies on utilizing his nostalgic appeal in order to obtain his fans' money after shilling his original art pieces and various pieces of Ren and Stimpy and other Spumco memorabilia. Whenever John attracted controversy back in the day and even to a certain extent more recently, he'd always use the same excuses and rhetoric again and again in order to deflect criticism and blame other people for his shortcomings, which is exactly what Alex does.

I don't know whether or not one of the reasons why John K actually makes his art nowadays is just to make art, but definitely one of the reasons why he does so now is to pocket his fans' cash. Alex created YanSim so he could prove Mike Z wrong and to profit off of his gullible fans.

Holy shit, Alex is such a faggot. At least now we have confirmation that Alex sabotaged WNM and probably most of the YanSim fan games.
It's either his way or the highway. He wants to create a monopoly of yandere games so he's the only one who profits off of all the consumers. He uses his influence in order to get others to back off and leave him and his inevitable vaporware alone.

From an outside perspective this server seems like a hydra, the heads keep biting each other due to disagreements
Can't wait until it resembles an ouroborus, and eats itself
I'm almost certain now that Lovesick will never see the light of day as a completed game. However, that doesn't mean that YanSim has a better chance of being finished than its "successor". Almost anything that is unfinished right now has an infinitely-better chance of being completed than YanSim does. So many people thought that Cans Without Labels would never be finished, but here we are... If Alex actually finishes his damn game, then everyone except for him, his "volunteer" lackeys, and his most brainwashed fans will realise how shit it is and mock it endlessly (like how we are now).

after seeing both alex's spiel that he pulled on epicmealdev and seeing how he did it to DrApeis, i'm livid. i'm not even an avid follower of lovesick or WNM and i'm just goddamn pissed off. whenever i think yandev can't set the bar of being a shitty person any lower, he does.

whatever pieces of hell is flung at him from here on out, he deserves it.
i bid DrApeis and whatever is made of his crew good luck on their development of the game. Alex won't get away with this.

Downlaoded all of the pictures just to make it easier for you guys to read

Edit: Changed from Web files to images.

Well this was a dumpsterfire to read. And very informative. I felt like there had to be more to the circumstances behind WNM's ceased development, so I'm glad that this came to light when Alex tried shutting another game down.

So with this we can confirm that Alex has gone from "jealously guarding his game", to "jealously guarding the entire concept of the game so nobody else is allowed to make one". But that's not how game development works; Alex doesn't get the monopolise the concept of a game just because he was the first to make a game with it - Copyright does not extend to the idea of a game, or how it's played. This very simple fact is why there's so many goddamn Battle Royales saturating the market right now. Did he conveniently forget that he himself has admitted that Yandere Simulator is an arsebaby of Persona and Hitman, based around an anime trope? His individual concepts are not unique either, so he has no legal right to force other projects to close down based on them copying his concepts. He had a case with Lovesick regarding the assets, but he dropped that within a day.

His year-long stay inside the four walls of his house has made him go a bit batshit, I think.

You would think that some kind of passion fuels the project too, considering some of its more degenerate game mechanics.
Maybe if he realizes he can make Yanderesim into a hentai game with big busty boobies he will have Osana finished tomorrow.

He could make it into an adult visual novel. All he'd need to do is write the script for what's effectively a slideshow of "fanart" submitted by "volunteers". Maybe throw in a few dialogue options and QTEs for "gameplay" et voila. It wouldn't be great, but it'd be something.

By the way, did any of you notice Jay's newest video? Might be big, considering he's one of the biggest LPers that didn't quit after three Yandere Simulator videos.

Hopefully people start to catch on that Alex's sheer jealously and over-protectiveness of his game concept indeed cancelled YanSim-inspired games like Watashi no Mono and that he's poised to eventually zap Lovesick out of existence next. It's really fucking stupid that he has to be this jealous of even the notion that someone out there could create a better yandere game than he can.

Alex is a manipulative and narcissistic. It was to be expected that he forced (and is forcing) the competition to leave. Why actually try if you can cry, moan and suicide-bait your way out of trouble?

Alex constantly reuses his playbook of straw-manning his opposition, blaming all his problems on external factors, and ridiculous excuses as to why he didn't finish Osana this time, or the last time, or the time before that. Eventually, Alex's luck will run out and he'll have nothing else to turn to...but as long as his smooth-brained fans are willing to hear and read about his meme game, he'll still be "developing" YanSim.

Oh, and welcome to the farms! I personally joined last week. Now that I actually am thinking about this, a lot more users are coming to the farms lately just because (or partly because) of Alex...I wonder why that is...

For anyone who doesn't have time to watch the video, the TL;DW is "I don't think YandereDev likes me. I don't give a shit. I also don't give a shit about him being a bad person if he hasn't done anything illegal. I only play his game when he updates it because my audience likes it. Stop tagging me in drama shit."

Yeah, I watched the video but I doubt it'll make any difference in the community.
He had a very blissfully ignorant / neutral stance and basically said that he doesn't care and does not like nor dislike Alex.
Most of the comments agreed with only a couple of dev-suck-offs.

I hope daddydev shits brix over jay saying he doesn't care about him though :story:

He could even input that yakuza rape feature and make the whole game into a hentai one where the protag kidnaps women to be raped.
Remember when he said he wanted to implement that?
