Like I mentioned before, Alex partly created YanSim as a means to an end, that "end" being sticking it to Mike Z and proving that he's a competent programmer after all. Now the Lovesick devs are creating their own game to prove Alex that they can execute the concept of YanSim better than he possibly ever can. The vicious cycle continues...Oh, so now we have TWO developers that spend more time on drama than working on their game?
Funny how Alex's worst enemy is a literal clone of himself with a retarded profile picture.
I know this is the thousandth time that I've compared John K to Alex, but John nowadays relies on utilizing his nostalgic appeal in order to obtain his fans' money after shilling his original art pieces and various pieces of Ren and Stimpy and other Spumco memorabilia. Whenever John attracted controversy back in the day and even to a certain extent more recently, he'd always use the same excuses and rhetoric again and again in order to deflect criticism and blame other people for his shortcomings, which is exactly what Alex does. This is what happens when compliments and applause are the only fuel for your artistic integrity. Artists that are born and bred on nothing but flattery will burn out their personal desire to make art and rely solely on praise to get the job done. He's frantically obsessed with seeing what other say about him so he can inflate his ego and cram in some shit once in a while. This is probably why leaving the Internet is not an option for him, whether he stays or goes he's eventually gonna go completely stagnant.
I don't know whether or not one of the reasons why John K actually makes his art nowadays is just to make art, but definitely one of the reasons why he does so now is to pocket his fans' cash. Alex created YanSim so he could prove Mike Z wrong and to profit off of his gullible fans.
