I haven't read the discord glip response to rootie yet, but I'm irritated by these tweets because glip claiming that they told marl not to make a move on rootie means FUCK ALL if they weren't also regularly checking in on rootie (the vulnerable person from an abusive home they'd been SO worried about!)
If you had enough mistrust to be concerned in the first place, why the actual fuck wouldn't you talk to the person who wasn't already known for lying to your face more than once?
I actually believe this, too, because it's that fucking negligent, and that's their entire brand. Gimme my hats, damn.

A lot of people keep questioning why Glip did nothing more even if she had suspicions. I don't doubt that to some degree, whether normal or some twisted version of her own, she did have feelings for Marl. So with that said I wonder if she ended up falling into a trap many other spouses had before her.
You know there's something wrong, but you can't do something because if you're wrong, it ruins the relationship, and/or you want to believe the person you're married to is a person you can trust.

Most likely preemptive measures in case they lash out, its a gun duel with callouts, whoever gets their shot first wins because everyone will ready their pitchforks and torches and march straight to the target, this way they're making sure they're firing first before they can even react, and with their reputation they can't afford to get shot or it'll be kpop spam: electric boogaloo, even if the one who shot is another Marl people are already aiming at them.
This also calls into question the purpose of it being shot out of the blue, they had absolutely no problem letting them in and do as they pleased yet now they shot them down, it could just be the current climate that is far too tense as Glip is trying to clean her name, redeem herself as a defender of abused people and paint herself a saint. But they probably need to clean up the discord first, wouldn't be surprised if they have plenty more people like Goopy that have been sex pests forever and are only now being lined up and executed firing squad style because they're causing too much trouble for the new narrative where Marl did it all and Glip would had stopped if she knew. Can't have sex pests complicating the message even if they've been loyal paypigs.
