The thing about a lot of these quirks of YandereDev is that I could accept one or two of them as being a little weird, but the combination of them is just... off.

If Alex only slurped over big busty boobies, I'd think he's just a weeb who likes big tiddies.
If he only said that he likes his girls "innocent" and "malleable", I'd think that he's into Japanese gravure model types (I already said this in an earlier post)
If he only talked about a sex loicense, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he just thinks AoC is arbitrary (which it is to a limited extent: what's perfectly fine in Nevada makes you a pedophile in California)
If he only introduced a virgin hunter teacher, I'd say that he's just appealing to the common anime/manga trope of teacher-student relationships
If he only brought up the Yakuza being able to sell Ayano's rivals into sex slavery, I'd say that he's just trying and failing to be dark and mature
If he only introduced panty shots, I'd again handwave it as a common anime trope

The more I think about it, the more I realize that all of these things that are fine in isolation point to something fucked up in combination. The more complex factors you introduce, the less likely it is that it's all pure coincidence (if you're walking through the forest and you see a rock that vaguely looks like the letter L, that's coincidence. If you see rocks spelling out a coherent, multiple sentence spanning message then somebody wants to leave you a message). I'm still not one for throwing around baseless accusations, but sexually speaking there's something very wrong with Alex. No way around it.

I see. Though I was thinking less about people making their own yandere game as a means to dunk on Alex, but rather approaching it with the mentality of "I kinda like the idea, but God knows when or if Alex will finish the game, so I might as well make my own take on this concept.". So in other words making a yandere themed game for the sake of itself rather than to spite Alex.

On a personal note, I found the whole Hitman x Persona thing always a bit irritating on a conceptual level. While I think it would be metal as fuck if you could summon a persona to kill your enemies, I'm afraid that Alex is referring to the high school faggotry and dating sim aspects that make the Persona franchise objectively inferior to Shin Megami Tensei.

At this point I'm just amazed at Alex's ability to dig himself deeper regardless what happens. I hope he doesn't just wind up pulling a Dobson and disappearing, but if the leak didn't do it I doubt drama will as long as he's still getting patreon bucks.

For anyone with interest in seeing what YanSim should play like structurally, Escapists 2 is free on epic right now. If YS was just that in 3D with an actual Yandere rather than whatever the hell YS' protag is I think it'd be a pretty solid game.
