So my cousin lives in a medium sized rural town where they have a labor day parade and I guess it's a really big deal (been going for like 100 years or something?). He just told me they cancelled it and the residents are absolutely losing their shit because they had a parade for the high school seniors last weekend and had a bullshit BLM protest a few weeks before that. (I'm guessing there were only like a hundred or so people there if it was anything like the one that came through my town though).

He sent me the link to a few of the town facebook pages and it's just spiraling out of control. Everyone is airing out all their issues with the town council no matter how petty, talking about how they think they're corrupt, the parade committee is using this as an excuse to embezzle the funds, it's been taken over by the liberals they're all RINOs, lets all just have a bullshit parade on labor day anyways etc. etc. etc.

God damn I love to see it. Wish my town would get a little pissed off.

Up North a small town in iowa tried to cancel the the 4th of July parade and tried scheduling a black lies matter rally. To which a group of private citizens Proceeded to not only cancel the blacklies matter rally but privately fund the 4 of july parade with most of the town Shooting off fireworks. A record high sales of fireworks were sold that weekend as well.

I had family near Spirit Lake and she was 100% like that. She was the one who couldn't understand the link between high taxes and government social programs.

Most places in Iowa even the scummy parts like fort dodge or Davenport are still infinitely better the other parts of the USA. Though Davenport does have a fare share of Illinois related issues. blacks and drugs are the biggest issue
However places like Waukee and west des moines has quite the woke crowd even Des Moines has duchbag hipster luckily there far a few between

Fort dodge Ia is know as lil Chicago among Iowans. However major crime is rare and so is extreme poverty so compared to rest of the state it's a glaring shit hole but by normal U.S standards its average at best. one keynote theres a lot blacks in this places make what you will of that.

Well, they can be horrible things. They are less-lethal, which means they can sometimes kill but they will at least leave a mark. If you don't want to get hit with them, you shouldn't be out there. This isn't a case where we have a totalitarian gov't who will crack down on any dissent. If they were actually peacefully protesting, these things wouldn't need to be fired. If they think they need violence to be heard, they need to accept that getting hurt in the process is a sacrifice they should be willing to make. You can't expect to be violent and only have the other side get hurt.

I like how Cannon is actively trying to dodge saying white and black people.
