That's debatable. It's possible that Stalin knew very well that the people he was purging weren't Nazi spies.

I would say that georgia is located in asia rather than europe, that being said it is more european in culture than asian and the distinction between asia and europe is pretty shaky at best

And what is it with these Stalinist and anime anyway? There precious anime wouldn't be here if some entertainments industries didn't see a market with spergs. I am speaking as an anime fan myself

I started identifying as socialist not long ago when I decided that the term "leftist" is too ambiguous and therefore worthless for all practical purposes. Still, I wouldn't dare even call myself a Marxist because I'm not low enough to directly attribute my political views to one man whose own writings I would have to cherrypick the fuck out of just to qualify as Marxist in the shallowest of kinds. But, I digress.

Maybe it's just me, but I typically find anime depictions of totalitarian dictators mildly amusing.

EDIT: I think I misread your post. My point still stands, though.

I'm not here to give life lessons but I want to say this, if you're angry and bitter 24/7 you have to change your attitude if you ever want things to improve, CyberStalin, Jayne and girl_Communism along with many other people will never feel happiness if they continue down this path. Ultimately I don't give a shit about these people, they could honestly off themselves and it'd be no skin off my back but I guess that's for Kiwi's who are angry and bitter.

The Caucasus doesn't fit very well into American concepts of what is and isn't "white", and it's pretty clear that despite their claims to internationalism these guys are operating within an extremely Americanised cultural context. The Caucasus is an area with a lot of racial mixing, including between people who are generally considered "white" (Russians, Armenians), those who aren't (Azeris, Kurds, Iranians) and some corner cases (Chechens, Ichkerians). Having said that Georgians are generally pretty pale looking, they're christians and have been for a long time, and they have a history of small-scale Imperialism towards their less pale, less christian neighbours. Georgians who travelled to other parts of the Russian Empire were considered "white" in a way that Azeris and Uzbeks weren't. The Georgian upper class integrated seamlessly into the general Russian nobility. Seems pretty "white" to me. Stalin didn't seem to have much fellow feeling for Russia's non-white subjects, either.

This is the stock reply for people arguing in favour communism. It's not that communism has repeatedly been tried, and found to almost certainly lead to oppressive failed regimes - they just didn't do it right. It's the no true Scotsman fallacy. Oddly enough, it resembles many other weird cults. Take Breatharians: this is a group who claim that humans don't need to consume food in order to survive. When someone actually tries this honestly – unlike their leader (Jasmuheen) who has been caught eating – they suffer the expected consequences of starvation. When people die, true-believers will claim that the victim obviously wasn't doing it right.

It's not unusual for teenagers to go through a socialist/communist phase. They've little experience in life and are being supported by their parents. What's very sad is when someone can reach adulthood and think that communism is actually a good idea.
