Xanderhal thread when? Even in the Breadtube cesspool this guy stands out for being especially dumb, especially melodramatic, and especially slimy. I am very curious to know what makes Destiny, Vaush, and Xanderhal, appealing to people. I struggle trying to imagine what the inner life of a person must be like in order to find this circus of dysfunctional and emotionally crippled dudes appealing.

There is this essay by a historian named Robert Darnton about a disturbing event called the 'Great Cat Massacre' that took place in 18th century France. Basically these printing apprentices got upset about the way their master was treating them and because their boss and his wife doted on their cats, they ended up killing the beloved pets. But instead of just drowning them or whatever, they tortured the cats and held a mock trial for the felines and sentenced them to death; the really disturbing part is that this whole show was considered wildly funny by the locals.

That sort of captures how I relate to Breadtube; observing it generates the same amount of disgust and bewilderment that the public torture of animals for the amusement of a crowd does.

My fave part is when Vaush, in response to Destiny pointing out that he grew up with silver spoon in his mouth and knows jackshit about conditions of working class he claims to be the champion of, says he worked for 2 years before and later during his school to pay for his eductaion. Now I'm not murican, so I've no idea how much shit costs and how much an uneducated and inexperienced worker can earn, but I just have feeling that if you could pay off your education just from 2 years of low qualification job, people wouldn't complain so much about student debt

I think allot of these idiots believe themselves to be the splitting image of the old early 20th-century factory workers, even though many of them come from middle or upper-middle class families and only had to work some minimum wage fast-food or Wal-Mart job when their parents urged them to take on some responsibility and maybe pay for (some) of their own schooling.
