And I bet that even Nick at its worst would reject Growing Around just for the reputation of its creator alone, and he'll treat it as another reason why the networks have no standards.

this is why people who truly want to make their own shoes, first go in and pitch something to get their foot in the door, and once they've proved themselves, make something with a bit more control.

To Mr. Enter, "mean-spirited" is when a character doesn't deserve the comical pain they get. If the antagonist is in pain, it's fine. If the protagonist is in pain but the whole point of the story is to overcome that pain, it's fine. When Meg Griffin or Squidward Tentacles get severely injured for no particular reason and the plot either ignores their pain or rewards their abuser, it's a slap in the face.

I know he's a sperg and all but he really can't find a better use of his time than taking god knows how long recording audio, gathering research, and editing his hour-long fourth(?) covid video rather than, you know, put out the second part of a top ten list he started a month ago? He could be reading a novel, learning a new language, literally anything more productive than ranting and reading more about a disease that only tangentially affects his life, adding more unnecessary stress with all this doomsaying without actually offering a reasonable solution and simultaneously hemorrhaging his fanbase consisting of a) children who probably don't know what's even happening or b) shut-ins who don't care.
