Magic is inherently a greedy act. It doesn't "work" otherwise. Witchblr is so fucking weird. It's interesting sociologically to see how we got here and to understand where these "witches" are coming from and where they got their ideas, but it's kind of bizarre to see how little they understand about actual magical traditions.
(Not to say magic is real-real, just that it's a fascinating historical topic and it's interesting to see how little of actual history has made it through to the tumblr-side)

Most people that use sites like Tumblr and have screenreaders usually aren't totally blind, as somebody with complete blindness really doesn't get much out of an image-heavy site like Tumblr. If you're visually impaired and on Tumblr, you're probably using a screenreader for those blogs with super tiny text on backgrounds that make it hard to read.

It's always really funny to me when blogs like that also do the captions for images.

One thing I've noticed with this community is that they believe strongly in "cultural appropriation". For example, they very much disapprove of cleansing your house with sage if you are white.
