So, a funny thing happened on the way to work today. I stopped to get a burger to eat and they got my order wrong. I had requested no tomato, but there was a big slice of tomato on my burger. The place I stopped at has only been open for about two months and this was my second time eating there since they opened, and also the second time this exact same issue has come up. So I did call them when I got to work and asked to speak with the manager on duty. I informed him of the issues I've had with my orders at their drive-thru, and when the manager apologized and tried to offer me a free meal I told him that wasn't what I was calling for and that my main issue was that if someone were to come through with an allergy that it could potentially be very bad for them, and all I wanted was to make him aware so he could have a talk with his food prep staff so they would take more care with the orders. I said it wasn't a big deal for me to pick off the tomato, so it didn't warrant giving me a refund or free food, but it could be potentially life-threatening for someone else. During the call we were both professional and courteous towards each other and thanked each other for their time. Getting an order wrong isn't worth throwing a major fit and demanding refunds or free food. If you're at a nice restaurant and your steak comes back undercooked then it's perfectly fine to ask the server to take it back and request it cooked how you wanted. If you regularly get your order wrong from the same place it's perfectly acceptable to talk to the manager and politely make them aware of the issue. Louie's reaction is to pitch a self-important bitch fit and demand special treatment. Because he's a selfish child.
