So another painful attempt for the CCP to try to play God. Instead of their bioweapon going on the lose, now it's their cloud seeding tech backfiring. The cloud seeding techniques they have utilized isn't anything new, but I wouldn't be surprised that this is a major contributing cause for the rainfall. Insane to think that this will be the one that actually does China in if it actually collapses. I certainly hope that is not the case, because the fucking death toll would be IMMENSE, along with the environmental damage would be stupid. Certainly if this happens, this will be the end of China.

If they manage to skate by this one unscathed, the CCP will practically be on par with DSP's level of cosmic luck.

I'm just a retard with a paint tool, but I think the angle makes it look a lot worse than it really is.

If that corner meets the top of the reservoir, it looks like it could be not as close as the /pol/tards think. But, again, I'm just a retard so there could be shadows or angles or artifacts that prove me wrong. Or right. I don't know. Could just be a really bad looking shot that happens to align the edge of the dam perfectly with the height of the water without demonstrating the actual depth.

Xinhua News (the source quoted) is reporting that the number was 61k at 8 pm on the 18th, but reduced to around 46k by 8 pm on the 19th (about 16 hours ago, I believe). At least that's what I read on their English site. (archive) It didn't mention the structural compromises anywhere that I could find on there, so either it's been hidden away from English speakers or I'm just shit at finding things on their crappy site.
