The Twitch DMCA Saga (Three Times Resilient!)

This looking like it could be another machinima situation where the pig roach is so unlikable and petty that he unwittingly will end a relationship through sheer annoyance that he mistakenly believes holds any actual value for the other party (in this case Twitch).

He should be praying no actual human being is looking over this because they would lose their patience far faster than a bots.

Phil goes to click a link he was given, stops himself. "NO, I'M NOT AN IDIOT, NOT GOING TO CHECK IT ON MY DESKTOP"

proceeds to check the link on his phone instead of his desktop, because apparently his phone and desktop have different IPs? Pretty sure my phone doesn't have a different IP, but I've never actually checked.

Only way it would have different IPs is if his phone was connected to the separate internet line.

Maybe this is all being staged and he's played everyone. He hid the money for all those years as cash stashed in the house. He built up massive debt doing whatever he wanted, had it all discharged, and now he's got enough cash to ride it out. Cue the repetitive attacks, some impotent rage, and a final YouTube video titled "I'm done", and retires from streaming.

You have to admit, that would be a good play.

It wouldn't be hard to edit some of the more generic "artwork" to remove things like texts and whatnot and do the same thing that was done with the crowns. If SH is autistic enough I think that's what he's gunning for.

  • Agree
Reactions: actually
Just started watching the stream. He is still talking about it 80 minutes in. It's crazy people will PAY him to say the same thing over and over and then watch him watch himself playing games.

I will say DSP's Karen discussion was pretty hilarious.

"There's a meme going around that WHITE PEOPLE are entitled and they complain about things and they call them Karens"

When did Phil add his crown subs?
Hm, those look quite different.

As far as I can tell at this point, the DMCA claimer found out that DSP's sub badges were created by someone else in August of 2015 as part of a commission (misspelled "comission" btw) for a Twitch channel ("barbaro"-something). I can't read the actual website address, [something].blogspot.com. If this is true, and that website exists and the dates of creation are correct, the DMCA claim could actually be legitimate and Twitch has no other option than to honor the claims (I think? Paging Dr. @Null).

-EDIT- Got a better screenshot of the unknown Twitch channel that supposedly commissioned the crown sub badges. "Barbarousk" (maybe still missing some letters after this)

-EDIT- Could it be "BarbarousKing"? -> https://www.twitch.tv/barbarousking

I selected a random, recent VoD, but he's not using them at the moment, at least:

-EDIT- He just tweeted this out:

Perfect timing while he's possibly DEBUNKING himself. :story:

-EDIT- Oh yeah, the website + commisioned sub badges are there alright: https://shanaflames.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2019-06-17T11:15:00-07:00&max-results=7 (http://archive.md/wip/q9u07) + direct link https://shanaflames.blogspot.com/2015/08/new-comission.html?m=1 (http://archive.vn/Bhn3H)

Popsicolo fucked up if he didn't pay for those assets.

Kinda sucks, but I have to go in a couple of minutes. Will update the OP in about 24 hours or so.

I looked on his forums, Popsicolo started talking about it on Janurary 7, 2017, then added some images of them on the 15th and 17th.
