I don't feel sorry for Peetz either, but that silence after she asked him if 'she could do anything' about the depression was deafening. There's a lot he wanted to say in that moment, and didn't because she's 100% the problem and likely the reason he's feeling more depressed lately. There's plenty she could do. She could start by respecting his boundaries and not dipping into his stash of Kit Kats. It's gotta be annoying living with such a food-aggressive person that does shit like that, and then asks you to help her put on her socks because she can't reach anymore.

Chantal needs some other hobby or fixation beyond food that gets her out of the house more and allows Peetz some genuine alone time to recharge. They're cooped up in that filthy apartment together 24/7.

Her habits are also becoming his habits. It's pretty obvious he's put on some weight. That's 100% Chantal's influence right there. What she does on-camera is bad enough, but there's probably a lot of 'teasing' off-camera where she forces him to try some kind of meal she prepares and then shames him for not wanting 4 plates of it. She's like Amber, in the sense that she doesn't want to be the sole glutton at the table.

None of this is good for his or her mental health.

And now we have a new character to the series. A geriatric walker for a woman that is 36 fucking years old, and isn't disabled. Just lazy.

It gets worse because not only is she comfortable using it in public, but she seems almost proud to show it off. For someone so concerned with the world "fat-shaming" her, she sure does enjoy the sympathy that comes with looking and acting like a complete invalid.

Peetz needs to get out now, or prepare for a future in which he's 100% her caretaker without any benefit to himself beyond the occasional pat on the head for being a 'good boy.'

They addressed them in a video a few weeks back. He bought the sunglasses and apparently didn't realize they were for women. Chantal saw them, laughed, and made fun of him for it. He basically said that sunglasses are sunglasses, and he had already bought the pair, so he would keep using them. Autist or pre-troon? Nobody knows.

About James' depression, Chinny did say that James reads the comments occasionally since they moved and started doing more videos together. She didn't really hint whether it was YT comments or whether he has become a visitor of ol' Karen Farms. I wonder if that helped lead him to his current state. I do hope he starts exercising on his own. A successful James weight loss journey would push Chins over the edge.

She didn't really hint whether it was YT comments or whether he has become a visitor of ol' Karen Farms. I wonder if that helped lead him to his current state. I do hope he starts exercising on his own. A successful James weight loss journey would push Chins over the edge.

I would also bet working from home is not helping his physical and mental health. He's getting no exercise and his only social interaction is a selfish pig who has taken over the kitchen and is out of breath just sitting.

Don’t get me wrong, nobody deserves to be verbally abused, but I also find it hard to sympathize with clear enablers. When people just stay there and take it, it’s a legitimate topic of conversation and you stop feeling too bad for them once you realize they like it and it fits in with their identity of being depressed.

Also, it’s really interesting to me that James is so autistic (averse to change) that he literally gave himself depression by being so dead set on being stuck in a rut. It’s really the opposite delusion of Chantal’s. Chantal’s whole thing is “I make X change, I am instantly happy”, and she is constantly making changes (not productively, not permanently, and overall for the worse). James’s thing seems to be “I cannot make any change that would make me happy,” either because he won’t commit to the change or because he’s convinced himself it won’t make him happy. Really the ultimate unstoppable force-immovable object set of dysfunctional people.

"Stressed from work" is probably his generic way of saying he's currently unhappy with his life without actually admitting why. I highly doubt he's actually stressed from his call center job. Like others have said, living with Chantal for the last almost 100 days is probably finally taking its toll.
