Edit: the comments on the video are what kill me the most. I know everyone talks about how Twitter is used by like 2% of the population or whatever (and obviously there will be lots of people who share my views on this guy, that he's morbidly cringe), but god damn are there a lot of people who are like "omg I've never been more proud, and yes it's literally like being hunted to be a black man in America :("

It's unbelievable to me, as a non-American, to see so many people including this guy claiming that if he was a black guy he wouldn't get as much attention. Jesus Christ, people have been destroying major cities because of a black person being mistreated and tried to do it again after a cop justifiably shot (the Atlanta situation) at a dude who fired a taser at him. All I ever hear in MY country from both our media and American media is "Oh my god, black this, black that, you have no idea how horrible it is, Trump is literally trying to murder black and brown people and is a white supremacist Nazi chud Antichrist (who can't stop talking about how based Jews are and fawning over the low black unemployment rate)... also here's a top 10 list for why you should castrate yourself and not bring another white devil into the world".

Ideally, minimum force necessary should be used to end someones resistance. I can't say what the officer did was within policy but he will probably get a verbal warning based on the totality of the circumstances that night.

Now, I thought his White privilege would have protected him?

So what is it? White Privilege protects an old White male or it does not and like Chris David says, everyone can get beat down for not following the law?

Those guys are USMS SOG, not some regular beat cops or standard paper pushing fed with more milsurp than they know what to do with. I'd be willing to bet they have plenty of combat vets and the boomer and all these wannabe Red Guards are bigger LARPers than any of them.

And now some asshole is starting up the drums so nobody can hear anything.

So, as expected, no actual politics, just a focus for their 2 Minutes' Hate. It's just more performance--he wants to seem brave as he's surrounded, he wants the aerial shots on the nightly news. And he wants to show them he's on their side, not like those mean ol' feds who are casually kicking their ass.

I bet he'll get out of there before midnight, which is when the actual riots and attacks on the buildings start. "Oh they were all so peaceful while I was there, then the feds escalated! Shame on them!"

Edit: now they're bitching about Hertz and Enterprise rentals. Apparently they figured out where the unmarked vans are coming from, and they're asking the Mayor what he's going to do about the two companies.
