Honestly, with all that was (IS) happening after that, I forget from time to time what started this. I still want police reform and social distancing so we can get to a new normal, but these people want to drag this on and on. So, you could say I'm apathetic of this whole movement now. They've actually been counterproductive for change that would benefit lives.

The problem is that many of these people spend most of their waking hours in the same social media hug boxes where their distorted worldview is supported by everyone mutually ass-patting each other. Anyone that calls their beliefs or opinions into question is quickly and easily blocked, called out, and deplatformed for not agreeing with the narrative. They're so blindly devoted to their "cause' they will do anything to advance it, no matter how unscrupulous.

Not only that, there was less than a year left on the statute of limitations that was presumably extended to six years on account of the significantly-undereported income. That was the biggest catch-22 when I previously worked in IT and looked for my first job in the field. Almost every ad wanted experience, but few companies were willing to provide it. Now, the field seems to be more of a mess with employers now expecting workers to be on call 24/7/365 and willing to relocate anywhere at the drop of a hat with little to no advance notice. Definitely feel for the new grads trying to establish themselves, and glad I'm out of that mess.
