To be honest, I haven't watched a single second of clips uploaded here the past couple days. Reading about it is discomforting enough.
What I want to touch on is your last sentence. All I've been hearing the past several months is how everything that's happening is trying to affect Trump. Trump, Trump, Trump.
Let's forget the fact that people will be without employment for God knows how long, local government is deliberately being passive while their cities burn, numbers for Corona are steadily increasing and being suppressed, race relations are going at a low, no. Donald Trump is the cause AND victim of all this.
The damage being done will have everlasting effects beyond a one or two term presidency.
Do you hear yourself talk? It's like this man lives rent free in people's heads. My priorities would be how the American people are being held hostage for political reasons, not how Trump is being "unfairly treated" or he's the "next fascist Hitler."

No one will do anything about this well enough to stop it, and I'm one of those people who are worried about it spilling out into their lives. The genie doesn't go back in the bottle. This whole Jackass Festival since that black guy died from opioids has revealed what every single authority figure, business, media outlet, and person believes and will set out to do. It's all laid bare before us, and when it's all over, I don't see how they can ever make amends.

The thing is, the DNC did this when Trump won in 2016 (just not as extreme), we saw this in 2017 with The Evergreen College riots, Portland, Seattle, and Minneapolis have had numberious rights between 2016 to now because progressies were somehow "wronged". It makes sense to say its because the election is in November. I am angry that the DNC has allowed this to happen and holding people hostage, I am Pissed that I can't criticize Trump for things he should be critizicized for (such as using the office of the presidency for advertising) with out giving the DNC credit they do not deserve nor should be given, since they allowed this to happen. Yes this is going to affect things for a long while but all we can hope for is that Trump wins a second term so that we can laugh at them breaking down again.

Actually, most Canadian hockey riots are these people, too, and likely most sports riots in the US as well. The Vancouver riot was the most acknowledged example of this, but anarchists attend these events with plans based around either team winning just to see how far they can push the crowd to chimp out, and then when the riot jumps off to test their tactics.
Sports riots are the proxy wars of political change. Vancouver, and the Seattle and Toronto WTO riots are where the tactics used against the PRC police in Honk Kong were developed. Those same tactics were then imported BACK to the US following their "success" in Hong Kong.
Kinda like the small skirmishes of the US in Africa in the 90's being practice runs for the GWoT, which itself was just three-fold practice for further engagements; the pincers maneuver to contain Iran, practice for war IN Iran, and practice for war against the USSR/PRC.
Fortunately, the 'rona appears to have completely collapsed Iran along with the US having a president with some actual balls, but that means we just go straight into war with China.
On that note, boy this is sure giving Trump good experience coordinating forces on a nation-wide scale, isn't it? By trying to turn him into the dictator they claimed he was, he now has the hands-on experience to become just that.
That, and the inevitable Fox News narrative that Chinese infiltration caused all of these riots, people are sure gonna be willing to go die in a rice-paddy in the next few years.
