I specified "Normal conditions" a. Riots, insurrectiosn or, a state denying the civil rights of some one (e.g. Little Rock Nine) are not "normal conditions".

I just realized i fucked up my wording and included "Normal conditions" under exceptions, Doh.

As pointed out in an article above, it was a tragedy of errors on all sides. The cops were plain cloths and most likely didn't announce them selves but witness testimony is shit, as evidence by the Detroit mini riot a few weeks ago where witnesses said "he didn't do nothing he was unarmed and shot 16 times in the back" and Chief Craig had body cam footage showing other wise.

Most likely the bf got off because the fact they were plain cloths, (maybe) didn't announce or he maybe didn't hear it, and he had a rational fear for his and his gf safety, but sadly when police return fired she was killed. It sucks all around but both sides most likely acted lawfully under the current law.

More likely that it's still unknown whether the Boyfriend or Breonna fired at the police. I remember reading somewhere that Bf was in the shitter when the shooting started and it was likely that Breonna fired the shot that got her killed.

I keep wondering what the barriers are for.
In this case it's some plasic bins and trash. One guy kicks a third of it over in seconds. In the cases with the autonomous zones, they just rolled dumpsters into position and left them up on their wheels or loosely stacked random things.
What good is a barricade if it was built by a few physically atrophied manlets with no skill in construction and a very questionable understanding of physics? Who/what are they going to hinder?
