Excuse me for being mad that I was written up for doing my job, and that the workplace has become increasingly hostile because I refuse to engage with blatant bullshit. I literally had my boss told me that I failed in triage because the biggest threat to black lives isn't the fact we are smack dab in the middle of a pandemic but systematic racism. That I need to be sensitive to this bullshit. I signed up to be a nurse not a humanitarian. Forgive me for getting tired of this constant bullshit.
It's like at first when I started I moved giving up relative comfort and security to help my home state deal with this wu flu. Then literally risked my health and possibly my life working long hours sometimes in makeshift ppe when coivd was at its worst. Then I was told when we finally do contact tracing to write everything the patient says completely. Mind you at less than I normally made in Seattle I got written up. I feel like all my toil is in vain, as I'm being told to go against my ethics and conscience. I'm starting to feel like what's the point in doing this, by being willfully blind I'm bound to see more people die from coivd because no wants to say the riots are a bad thing. I did not sign up for this and I'm burnt out.

It occurred to me today that these riots are probably the best argument against taking in refugees that there is. This cancerous critical theory of social justice is from the Frankfurt School, which fled Germany for ideological reasons. They then came to the United States which was kind enough to shelter them and spread their bullshit ideology throughout the world. It truly is sad that ideologically we have made 0 progress from the early 20th century. Just imagine how much better society would be if we had rejected these Marxist ideas and instead gone towards the path of total equality that ignored race and gender. It blows my mind that people want so badly to destroy the most successful and prosperous society in the history of mankind because of some retarded Marxist ideas.

I have the rarest of all animals a cabbit (bobtail calico cat.) She's sitting on my lap now. As others said, hollow-points are kinda unnecessary in 5.56 FMJ which fragments "explosively" anyway at high enough velocities (typically inside 60-120m depending on barrel length and bullet weight). If you're hunting with 5.56/.223 it might make more sense because you may expect to take longer shots (where FMJ will just poke little holes if it doesn't have the energy to break up), and don't want lead and copper fragments in the meat. GI 5.56 FMJ (usually has a green-tip) has a steel-core penetrator, and that's definitely not something cops are going to want to use. I do know that in the past BORTAC (the Border Patrol cool-guys) has used Winchester FMJ, JSP, and frangible ammo in their AR's.
Frangible ammo is used when you really can't risk over-penetration with either rifle or pistol. The problem is, it has a tendency to be unreliable in many weapons. You don't want to use it unless you have to, or really enjoy clearing malfunctions.
I don't think .308 FMJ has the same tendency to break up, and soft-points are more common.
