And if Ralph is your definition of successful, I don't know what to tell you. A man Ralph's age working as a manager of a Gamestop can pull $57k/year, do a lot less work and not bring nearly as much grief on himself as some minor eceleb. And that's just a shitty managerial job, you can go above and beyond that if you apply yourself (especially by your mid 30s) If Ralph makes $4k/month that's $48k/year before taxes, which means he's making closer to $30k a year after federal and state taxes. If he bothers to pay taxes at all.
