Any idea if this "leak" was intentional in order to lower people's expectation that they're going to get the worst possible Vice President choice and then get something slightly less odious that will end up helping Biden's chances of winning? Doubtful. Kamala's been the number one suspected pick for VP ever since the DNC officially went out and BTFO'd Stacey Abrams.

There's also the theory that Kamala was supposed to be the 2020 pick but Tulsi ruined that in the first debate, and piggybacking off of Biden as a VP is a way to have her backdoor into the White House.

If the DNC were going to false flag, they'd be more obvious and give a false leak of Hillary Clinton or Stacey Abrams and then make the Kamala announcement since those are the only two in the DNC that make Kamala Harris look better by comparison.

No, but I can see the Black voters and younger voters largely staying home if Kamala is the VP, since Biden is a dud whose best strategy is "stay out of sight and hope McConnell fucks up the gibs and blame that on Trump"

It's a "Vote Blue No Matter Who" year, but don't forget the possible issue of the "Silent Majority" where Karens and maybe also the Asian voters will vote Trump and if anyone asks, will say they voted for Biden. Another issue is how many voters will actually show up.
