I admit I have no idea who the developer is, but I feel bad for them too. I think their biggest issue is just the language barrier. Trying to have a nuanced conversation on Twitter is almost impossible as it is, but it becomes even more of a mess when you're not fluent in the language you're speaking in. He did say he wasn't going to make anymore changes at the very least.
I'd be curious if anyone with more context could chime in on what kind of wrongthink the dev committed.
SWERY is something of an eccentric auteur in the gaming world, like Kojima or Taro Yoko. It'd be a bit like @ing Guillermo Del Toro to tell him he's not furthering Twitter social justice enough.
