In Amber Lynn’s case, I think because she’s never been pushed out of her comfort zone. Why bother if you have a series of gorlfriends to chauffeur your ass around and pick up your fast food staff of life? If someone lives in a walkable area, that’s understandable. In a lot of the US, where most cars are automatic and AL isn’t walking anywhere, and hasn’t been capable for a long time, it floors me, too.

I wonder how many posts there begin with the assertion of "unlike Amber, I..." followed by the super-duper valid reason why their behavior is totally justifiable and reasonable, but how Amber is an absolute cretin for doing the same.
