Why is the Wall Street Journal publishing manga?

ohhhhhhhh

However, he's also a self-proclaimed "lolicon," which is someone who is sexually attracted to underage girls. This is mentioned in relation to Chloe herself looking like a teenager, despite being nearly 30. The heroine's defenseless before being saved by this so-called gentleman - who's [sic] design simply begs for a fedora - is bad enough, but making him a pedophile is incredibly worrisome.

Yes, it is incredibly worrisome that a man is lusting after… a young-looking 29-year-old instead of an actual child… I guess…

That article is dumb, but the sexual assault victim hotline blurb at the end puts it over the goddamn top.

Why would they think SJ would care? Fire Punch had incest and child rape/mutilation, Tu Love Ru's case ended up going to parliament, it didn't stop them from getting both authors back to write for them.

You know what, I don't even care. In fact, when I heard people talking about me following a certain ero mangaka, this stuff was the last thing I was expecting it to be about.

What did he mean by this?

Well considering that Twitter is now losing a lot of advertisers everyday as it becomes even more toxic then here's hoping that Twitter implodes soon and as I said before here that humanity is far better off without Twitter at this point.

This is 'Comic Book Resources' (CBR) though and they're also seen as a total joke by the way. It's basically an even more pathetic version of 'The Mary Sue' and half the time I keep forgetting that I'm on a serious pop culture news website and not on some parody news website such as 'The Onion' whenever that I go to Comic Book Resources to read their articles then.

It's also clear to me that the article in question is total clickbait because it just seems weird to me that this person knows enough about Shonen Jump and yet they write this article as if though this is their first time knowing about the other aspects of anime and manga that have been around for decades at this point so it just seems to me that this complete hack just wants attention. Although if this is this journalist's first time knowing about this stuff then this hack has been living under a rock for the past few decades then.

So there you have it.

Archive link is dead.

Altho the context (somehow) reminded me of a dumb joke concerning Dragon Quest VII manga adaptation, namely that it "went on hiatus" right as it was Maribel's turn to get a dream about the Demon Lord cause they couldn't get anyone to think of anything but him rawdogging her. So they chucked the entire series into the bin.

dannphan, a ComicsGate-adjacent geek YouTuber, has done a video on the whole Uzaki-chan controversy. She has recently been working on her own comic book called Orgasm Girl about woman who can give other people orgasms just by touching them, so you can probably guess that she falls on the non-prude side of the issue.

She makes a good point in that, just by virtue of the fact that it takes place in a college, it's in the vast minority of anime/manga. I myself have complained in the past about how maybe 80% of all anime/manga involve high-school kids (or younger) going to school.

So for those that don't know the context of this post, this is from a subreddit that is called 'r/mendrawingwomen' and it's also one of the most saddest and one of the most pathetic subreddits on Reddit that there is out there.

This whole subreddit is pretty much filled to the brim with lots of talentless hacks from both Tumblr and Twitter that can't draw for shit and loser incels that bitch about artists that draw art a lot better than them and most of these incels there give off those very eerie 'future mass shooter' vibes by the way and this whole subreddit is basically if Eliot Rodger was still alive to make his own subreddit then.

It's honestly one of the saddest things I've found on the Internet because these people are beyond pardoy at this point.

It's pretty clear to me and to everyone else that the people that virtue signal on social media are a bunch of unhinged morons anyway.

Also, a group of psychologists decided to do a study to see if virtue signaling and being a toxic moral busybody SJW makes you a bad person or not and to the surprise of no one they proven with science that these losers are a bunch of pieces of shit by the way.

So here is an article about the case study if you wish to read it.

so the sloth is a supporter of drawing having rights, and she put an artist she commissioned on blast for saying drawings aren't real.
"I'm honestly not okay right now, and more than a little shaken."

Well, then build your personality out of something sturdier than jell-o, you fucking prude.

Also, I'll give you good betting odds that this individual there has a stash of lolicon/shotacon porn somewhere in their hard drives, that they'll say doesn't count because [reasons]. 90% of the time I see someone going "I'm literally shaking right now" at some transgression, they're as guilty of it as the transgressor. Sometimes even worse. Maybe they're "literally shaking" out of envy.

Wait, so this furfag isn’t even mad that some artist drew underage nsfw or consumes underage nsfw.
They’re mad because the artist doesn’t fucking care about underage nsfw? What tier of of thought crime are we even on :story:

Not being offended online over drawings is now an active crime to these people I am in AWE.

Well to the surprise of no one, they locked their Twitter account. How typical, when these morons get called out on their bullshit they just hide then.

She went after some nobody artist for thoughtcrime, got a few people trolling them, and locked over it? What is the sexual sloth so afraid of? She can just call them pedos and win the argument, right?
