They're willing to enable by excuses. Also, when they switch to "socially-conscious community safety workers", the crime rate will go down because people will stop reporting it. And they'll count that as a win for "progress" and "compassion".

More likely, they'll have to interact with an otherwise harmless poor person and get cold feet early-on, as a lot of them already do. Social-workers-in-training I find to be fairly woke, but when you poke around at people who aren't so green, it tends to be the case that reality mellows out the ones that stick it out. One of the defining issues of our time is that we have all the evidence in the world to conclusively determine that they are incapable at worst and unwilling at best to act like white people. On average they are anathema to civilization and will forever hold any such endeavors back so long as they are able to undermine it.

We really don't seem to be given anything less than a choice between having blacks in our countries or having police forces and law and order in our countries. The downside is that all the money and political power is entirely on the side of getting rid of law and order, while there's practically nothing that can be done to maintain it at this point.

We tried that. It went exactly like you'd expect.

We have much better trans-Atlantic logistics now. We could give them a very good start for less money than some of the more egregious "reparations" proposals have asked for. What they do with it is, well, readily foreseeable, but they will say we didn't do enough no matter what. This is just the most humane solution to the problem and probably the best hope they'll ever have as a race, as long as interference with their development can be limited.

This reminds me of my somewhat naive self in college. During my first two years I worked in the student center and my task was mainly about helping students.

So one day were have some financial counseling, as I had worked on some spreadsheets and budgets for the student government for a side task, I believed I was good for the job.

First few cases were okay, hand out grant information, advise them the student health center can provide some care they need, etc. After a couple days, I get a student in their early 20's that is having difficulty feeding themselves.

They rented a room and had access to a stove / kitchen. The budget was about $40 a week and I went to work.

I researched local grocery stores and looked at the cost in addition to the nutrition facts. In the end, I designed a very boring but healthy diet of ground turkey, canned black beans, hummus, and corn. Variation included bulk salad with bread. Or spaghetti with a decent meat sauce sans parmesan cheese.

I think I was able to get the weekly bill under $30. I even offered to search coupons for them as our library got print editions of news papers and the mailroom had a ton of junk mail coupons.

My thanks? They complained that my meal plan was too much work and I wouldn't help them as much as they needed. Nor did they want to shop at Walmart. I asked the Dean about this and she just advised me to sign them up for as much benefits as I could.

All this crap just kept hardening my already libertarian heart. They don't want to get out of the shit they are in, the just want more gibs.
