Honestly, I think Tiffany Gowen is one of the most decent people Chris has ever had in his life. She never locked him in a cellar, she doesn't have a Nazi fetish, and she doesn't host unsuccessful auctions for people to buy her beer. So naturally, I was a bit irritated to see that Chris has retroactively upgraded her into "missed opportunity Sweetheart" territory. Granted, this wasn't the first time he's hinted at it (see "Tippanston Gowen" in the High School Story), but it might be the first time he's flat-out stated that he "would have dated Tiffany" (not "asked Tiffany out," of course. Tiffany has no choice in the matter).

Unlike Kellie Andes and Sarah Hammer, there hasn't been any indication of what became of her after graduating high schools (I hope there has been as little JULAY in her life as possible), but the CWCki article is the first thing that comes up when her name is Googled, so it's very possible that she's aware of what became of Christian. Hopefully she stays unaware of how the dear little autistic boy she was kind to in high school is creepily fixated on her now. But has there been any records of her finding out, or is she just the lucky gal pal that people are leaving alone?

I'm sure she's at least vaguely aware of what he's become since high school, if she's ever googled her own name. (I mean honestly, most people have once in their lives.) Plus if she's still in contact with anyone else from high school, she might have heard about him through the grapevine. "Remember that one spergy kid from our class? Yeah he's kinda infamous on the internet now..."

Regardless, I really hope nobody bothers her about him. I don't think she's had anything to do with him since high school.

I don't recall anything post-Manchester High (right? I might have mixed up his schools again) about her, unless there's some EPIN WEEN HOARDED COCKS or something.

She's probably married to some JERK so "Gowen" isn't her name anymore and she can leave this all behind. At least, I hope.

I really like her hair in the photos we've seen of her. From what little we know of her from her occasional interactions with Chris, she seems really nice, and I sort of wish I could have had an understanding / kind friend like her as a kid. Oooor super powers. Both would have been cool.

Unless they've moved hundreds of miles away, have abandoned their previous identity, become a social recluse, and/or actively avoid the internet... I see no way people, who were students at the same time as Chris, aren't at least vaguely aware of his infamy. His is the kind of story that spreads quickly among various social circles, on or off line.

Hey now, what's wrong with a bit of me in her life? I'm a fun guy, and I... Oh, you meant :julay: . Carry on.

This post makes me wonder how many of Chris's former galpals wanted to keep their maiden name, and have decided to take their husband's name just to get away from being subject to guilt by association with CWC... Granted, he only had a few of said galpals, but I'll bet that it's at least one.

I wonder if there was a 10 year reunion that Chris was simply unaware of/not invited to. If so, I wonder how big a topic Chris' post-highschool antics was amongst his fellow alumni.

The fuck kind of name is Tippanston?

Somewhere along the lines of "Terrah LeAnne Yowman."

(tiny thing, but "Terrah LeAnne Yowman" has always looked like a anagram to me and my brain keeps trying to unscramble it and then I end up being a WINDOW TO HELL as I stare into space autistic-like, trying to make sense of it)

Chris wanted to go, but it seems that no one told him anything.

Shock of all shocks! Chris wouldn't know what the hell to do at a reunion anyways, and would likely cry when they don't recognize any of his accomplishments.

I seem to recall something about a reunion of some sort happening, and they threatened to call the cops on Chris if he showed up, or something like that. But I can't find anything about it. Am I just misremembering?

I don't think there was none. How often do they have such reunions, I have only see such things on tv shows.

The thing is only Chris is stuck in time mellowing and yearning for high school, all of his classmates and galpals moved on and have lives of their own, works and taxes to pay children to take to the doctor in short real adult lives.

The same for that lady Tiffany Gowen, do you actually believe that she gives half a though to Chris being a adult already.

This is what Chris actually believes

I think he takes this at face value.

He'd probably be appalled that there wasn't a slow dance portion at the party, so he couldn't ask Tiffany to dance with him. (Is that right? I haven't been to my ten-year yet, but I assume it's more of a party/gathering with food and stuff, not a damn dance.)

Anyway, there was a reunion, though I don't think it was an official thing hosted by the school - a bunch of the alumni put it together, and they didn't necessarily reach everyone. Probably didn't try to contact people who, you know... didn't matter to them and was nobody's friend, like Chris.

They happen, but its not really an official thing held by the school. Usually its planned by alumni and they rent out a place for an evening and invite people from their graduating class. Mostly people get drunk and try and show off all their accomplishments since high school. I vaguely recall my parents being invited to their 20th year reunions and basically saying, "Nah fuck that, the last one sucked and I hate those people".

I went to mine...there was a DJ there, playing some music that was popular for the four years we all went to high school...and they did have a special dance for couples that were high school sweethearts that decided to get married, but other than that, they played upbeat stuff. I was considered one of the more successful alumni (other than the ones that won a Super Bowl ring, a Tony, a daytime Emmy, one that was a batting coach for a MLB team, and two that created their own non-profit charities). Yeah, reunions are somewhat depressing.

he has the older generation values of his senior citizen parents engrained in his head. at the time they went to high school, the majority of people were finding their eventual spouses. this changed over time. and even though borb didn't meet in high school, they probably still preached such values.
