Now I'm picturing OPL going to the local meth dealer and asking if they've got any Estrogen pills to sell him. I'm sure they'll sell him.....something in pill form....and say its estrogen. Could be MDMA, could be aquarium cleaner pellets. We'll never know.

Well fuck, I promised I'd switch to female pronouns if Chris started taking hormones. She must be self-medicating though, there's no way Chris could go to a gender therapist and get hormones (which I believe takes like 3-5 years?) and keep quiet about it.

I don't think Chris is actually taking hormones, or at least this picture should not indicate that he is that much. No doubt that his chest is seemingly larger in this picture but there is no actual way a man in his mid-30s would seem breast development from hormones so earlier. Kim also implies that Chris is starting out, hence the "second batch". It is possible that Chris is obtaining hormones over the internet. inhousepharmacy is a mainstream site for MtFs to obtain anti-androgens and estradiol. As much as I want to see Chris go down this hole deeper I think there is a lot more anticipation than actual results as of yet. There is also no change in anything else but seemingly chest development. It would not surprise me if he is wearing a stuffed bra (makeshift or real) to seem as though he is growing breasts.

Indeed, taking just a few months of HRT would not produce a much noticeable physical difference, although the mental and hormonal difference would be significant. If Chris does indeed decide to "order more", we should start seeing physical side effects getting closer to a year.

Also, it is fucking dumb that hormones are prescription medication and you have to spend thousands of dollars and hours messing with doctors and psychiatrists to get access to a hormone which you will probably pay out the ass for. Inhouse Pharmacy rules.

Also, Chris's testicles will shrink to the size of raisins. RIP Crystal

There's not way in hell he's gotten a psychiatrist trained in evaluating trans* individuals prepping to transition since that takes years and requires much more work (and money) than Chris could ever handle, regardless of how much of a woman he feels like so no way any hormones are properly prescribed.
If he's actually on hormones he must be getting them illegally online. That is, assuming they are hormones and he's not being scammed for or purposely buying "vitamins" or "supplements".

On the other hand, if you crop off his head, he could possibly pass for a fat middle aged woman.

Oh my,

While it's possible Chris managed to get himself some hormones, I really hope he's talked to some doctors and not just taken what info is on the net, because you have to have a pretty decent grasp to know what's the right amount etc being trans or a body builder doesn't make you an expert in hormones.

Even if these are black market talk to a doctor, they will say don't do this and hopefully explain how to in theory do it safely. As stated before I really doubt he's seen a gender therpy doc and got approved. It's not hard to get estrogen or anabolics on the net of different qualities and safety. Being money isn't falling out of the sky I really hope he's not filling himself with some toxic junk :(

I think it is definitely plausible to think that Chris is able to obtain hormones without much constraint— what is really holding him back is that he doesn't have a lot of money. It is possible maybe someone is buying him the meds, and if this is the case then we would have a super serious dilemma on our hands. I was lucky in the respect I didn't have to deal with much gatekeeping, but I'm sure Chris, in his attempts to find a girlfriend, has definitely discovered about hormones and will try to get on them.
