Absolutely. We've tested the Conservation of Momentum so many different ways that we know for practical certainty that it is a thing and that you cannot violate it no matter how hard you try. The Em Drive claimed to violate the conservation of momentum. Therefore, there was no good reason to ever believe that the Em Drive could possibly work and lo and behold it fucking didn't. Intuition was never a factor.

Now, if only we could be allowed to test the "intuitively obvious" claims about racial IQ or other such things.

Those have also been widely tested and remained resolute. It is a watering down of science to even question such things as racial IQ or the Conservation of Momentum. Don't even get me started with heresy like FTL travel or the "Alcubierre Drive" which directly violate fucking Causality itself and how so many people who should know better think they're possible or worth investigating.
