I. . .you know what after all these years and all the crazy fucked up shit he's done, I'm not even surprised. At least that outfit isn't a total abomination like the rest of his wardrobe. It's still creepy and doesn't look good on him but at least it's not an abomination.

I kind of said it before, but again, I can't help shake off the feeling that Chris is doing this just to "disguise" himself as female and get closer to the ladies, hoping they'd somehow sympathize or relate with him. And once they least expect it when the time seems right, Chris (straight as he is) will jump on them,
whipping out his duck
.

This may or may not be what's going on, however I'm starting to think Chris honestly couldn't tell if it were the case. I think he's largely self-unaware about his reasons for doing things and not introspective enough to be able to help himself.

I'm sure he'd say he's a girl because he feels like one and leave it at that. I think he avoids a lot of thinking about why he does things like a child does when they throw a tantrum and mom or dad asks why they're angry: "I'm mad cuz I'm mad. You can't tell me otherwise! SO THERE!"

She(Christine) is making a much cleaner and better transition than ADF. I will now refer to Chris as she.

She earned it, much better outlook on life and can take a joke. ADF is still horrid, living on the street and angry. Christine can take a joke and make one back.

For the first time, I think I like Christine. This is for once an improvement. If the hormones help, she should keep taking them. Christine took the initiative to do this and I actually commend her for it.

This lends credence to the theory that whatever it is that Chris is taking is probably some woo woo useless herbal crap. A decent MD would likely sign off on such a thing (if, for no other reason to shut Chris up).

Then again, he could be lying about talking to his doctor (just to shut us up). *sigh*

I dunno, I am pretty new to Chris, but this is the first time I have seen her actually happy and making jokes. The only time I ever saw that was in the old videos from 2008 and earlier. The only Chris, I have seen is a depressed one who still yearns for a girl and to be a girl. This is the best I have ever seen her. She actually replied to a "troll" with a sense of real humor. Call me naive, but this is a good sign to me.

I agree. Chris does seem like he's developing some confidence. Going to Impulse seems to be suiting him very well. At some point, Chris may even become "likeable". He's made some significant progress over these last few months and deserves some credit for what he's accomplished.

My only concern was that he may have been taking black market estrogen. It would be tragic and depressing to see him make such great strides, only to have him become seriously ill (or die).

If this transition business is true I will be glad to use female pronouns to refer to Chris and I will go Paddy Ashdown on a hat.

I do wonder where the money's coming from though. I doubt Medicare covers sex changes.

This would fall under Medicaid. Medicare is a federal program for primarily the elderly. Medicaid is a state program mandated by the federal government for the poor.

Apparently there are resources available for Transgender in Virginia. Below is a link to a listing of them.

As to how comprehensive they are, is up for considerable debate. Still I hope for her as do you guys!

From what I've been reading, it's currently really up in the air on if Medicare will cover SRS or not. Similar court cases have leaned towards "must be covered", and the ACA has some wording about gender related care that'd make blocking it very difficult. I think it's more a matter of someone needing to actually settle in and file the correct paperwork/lawsuit.

I forgot that Medicare would apply in this case because of Chris's SSDI. So there are 2 insurances that are in play here. Medicare and Medicaid.

I know Barb is practically immobile from laziness at this point, but can you imagine her walking in while Chris is taking the pic with the heart nips?
When Chris was diagnosed as autistic, she and Bob feared that he'd never learn to walk, talk or live a normal life. When Chris was able to go to school, they thought Chris was a miracle child.

.... how's that working out for you, Barb?
