From what I can gather the person is a Dissociative Identity Disorder “System”. Nothing too uncommon these days, and it’s another one of those things where as long as they aren’t hurting anybody and it helps their mental health enough they can be functioning members of society, whatever let them be multiple people in the same body. The human brain is a weird little ball of mush, can’t expect it to be standard all the time.

The trick here though is I’ve never heard of somebody with DID just being a bunch of characters from a popular video game, and the fact this person is claiming to be a system of Undertale Characters specifically makes me fucking suspicious, hanging out with Lou especially makes me wonder if this person isn’t just coming up with bullshit in order to grift as well.

The amount of effort to log out of one account, log in to another account, and then reply to your OWN post is...insane. But we already kinda knew that about Undertale Larper I suppose. I doubt he can pick at it because let's be real, he's contorting himself to his max to try and get a picture of it, and there isn't and sign of dried blood around it either. Slight powerlevel: I have actual background work in psychology. On the subject of Undertale LARPer having Dissociative Identity Disorder, I'm not sure I'd believe that. Unlike what Tumblr would tell you with that "headmate" bullshit where some users post on different "personalities", actual people with DID have no memory of their alternate personalities.

So while it's indeed still insane that an adult is pretending to be undertale characters to intimidate people and pretend to be Lou's friend, it's not DID.

Pretty easy to tell DID fakers when it comes to 100% video game "headmates"

Undertale came out in, what, 2015? DID can only form in a person under the age of around 7-9 years old, after experiencing severe and usually repeated trauma. So by this logic, these people must be around 12-14 years old max for their alters to have developed as these characters or they have other alters that they don't speak about and just so happen to have another load of specifically fictive alters all from one, recent video game that developed sometime in the last 5 years.

Now the other option is these people are not DID systems. I haven't looked at their profiles personally to check what they're saying, but the whole pluralgang thing I've seen sparking "discourse" in the DID community because those who use the pluralgang hashtag usually claim they have become systems without any childhood trauma. This pisses off a lot of DID sufferers who feel their condition and community is being encroached by people who shouldn't be there- they want a community where they can talk with other survivors (it is very common for DID to be caused by childhood sexual assault) in a ""safe space"" and these plural people are basically making a mockery of their condition. Some people try to be a little more polite about it, not wanting to say being plural is some big bullshit but just saying there should be separate communities for those who have trauma and those who don't, but the general consensus I see is that people who identify as plural, claiming to be systems without any trauma, are very different to those with actual DID.

A lot of the drama is extremely autistic, but honestly I would also get pretty pissed off if someone repeatedly raped me at 2 years old and someone who has a brain filled with undertale characters was trying to get on the same level as me and say they understood what it was like to be "plural" and start tweeting about it like they were speaking about the same issues I was facing.

If Louie was really bleeding as badly as he's saying, then his sock would be soaked through with blood. It would be a rusty reddish-brown color. Instead, it just looks like he went to check the mail in his stocking feet and he was sweaty. His lies are so unconvincing.

Not only that, but mental health professionals have been unable to even come to a consensus on if DID is real or not because of how rare cases have been and it was still unclear if the patients were just good actors or had a real mental illness. You know, people say that Louis is too cyclic and predictable, and I can see how they find that boring. But it's still stunning how one person is completely unable to learn.

It's as if I were a scientist studying a rat solving a maze, and that rat just bashes its little rodent head into the cardboard walls over and over for hours at a time. It's repetitive and there's little value to gain for it, but I keep watching to see if the rat will actually keep hitting itself until its brain caves in. Although in Louis's case, the rat also occasionally angers its little rat friends or stands up and talks directly at the scientist watching it.

It's like minimalism. You listen to a Philip Glass composition and at first it just sounds repetitive, but then you start to pick up on the subtle differences between each iteration. Sublime in its way.
