Or promote a mod that hollows out the movie universe through blowing up planets. In that case, you blow up Earth, where the Mortal Engines film takes place, and let it stay destroyed. This way it gives me new opportunities to set stories within the now-hollowed-out world of Mortal Engines, i.e. a Freespace 2 mod called "Rekt Galaxies".

What I'm saying is that the Mortal Engines movie was a stunning work of cinematic excellence, with incredible acting and can't-be-beat action sequences. Any TV show would merely be a pale reflection of the Mortal Engines' genius. Everyone in Hollywood knows that a TV adaptation would simply fail as people would always judge it against the masterpiece that is the movie adaptation, so no one is even going to try. It would be like making a TV series out of Citizen Kane, it would never work.

Don't try to blame covid, blame instead the unparalleled accomplishment of the Mortal Engines movie. It will never be improved upon, and to even attempt it is absolute sheer idiocy. Obviously you have a lot to learn about both movies in general and Mortal Engines in particular.

Leftist, this is the reason why I choose to create a mod out of it, inspired by the likes of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier and Star Trek: The Section 31 Files. The mod is Rekt Galaxies. I bet these modders of other games like Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, Half-Life: Alyx, Stellaris, Homeworld and Nexus: The Jupiter Incident will take advantage and create a mod based on Rekt Galaxies. Rekt Galaxies is endorsed and supported by Seth Dickinson, so why not?
