So I started my BF1 game today and saw this shit. And ditto for BF4. Haven't tried BF3 yet.

Of course it confirms the obvious; this was all about moving the goalposts once the protestors were bailed out and making a larger statement on how bail is racist, classist, or just oppressive/problematic in general -- especially with many of last week's primaries featuring candidates for county prosecutor who want to push an agenda that includes bail elimination -- sometimes for all crimes.
One might be sympathetic towards those in jail awaiting trial on lower level, nonviolent charges and unable to afford nominal bail, but seeing hard-core, previously-convicted violent criminals bailed out courtesy of MFF's deep pockets is horrifying. Do they really believe that rapists and other heinous criminals shouldn't be behind bars? (/rhetorical)
I hope they like bean sprouts. The Panera near a former workplace had a thing for drowning all its sandwiiches in sprouts the one time the owners decided to buy everyone lunch from there.
On a more serious note, why rob a Panera for anything other than what little money -- if any -- might be in the cash registers overnight? These looters aren't exactly starving to the point they'd eat anything just to subsist.
Can confirm @General Disarray's comment. Many bridges use a combination lights and some sort of audio alert (bells, buzzer, etc.) that activate when the bridge is raised.
The protestors behave as if they're a cult of violence and annoying, repetitive buzz phrases, so it seems appropriate in a way.
They sure know how to conveniently pop up at certain violent protests and seem about as prevalent as cockroaches in dark and dirty places.
