A big mass shooting happens every weekend man. Just the wrong race to get reported. Whites are actually disproportionately low for mass shootings, but somehow it's another evil white people thing despite being overwhelmingly Black gang violence like everything else
From what I have seen most mass shooting reports, specifically excluding gang shootings for this reason. Additionally, when an organization talks about mass shootings I would stress on how they define their terms. A few years ago, NPR stated their were no mass shootings in Australia but when presented with clear evidence (Monash University, etc) their response was that they used to most restrictive definition possible.
Okay fine.
A few days later, an article by a different author used the most liberal definition of mass shooting to say that we had more mass shootings than days in the year. When called out they, put a forward saying their are many definitions of mass shootings that we and other media use.
About the White mass shooter thing, using a more restrictive definition the U.S. has had about 118 mass shootings from 1986 to 2020.
Of that around 55% was committed by White, 17% by Blacks, 8.7% by Hispanics, 6.7% by Asians, and 2.5% by feather Indians.
Whites males make up about 36%, Hispanics makes about 9%, Black males about 6%, Asian males about 3%, and feather Indian males about 0.7%.
Such, the most dangerous group is Indians, followed up by Blacks, then Asians, Whites, and lastly Hispanics.
