I can't understand why he feels so compelled to sweep though. It's clearly over, this is the most pathetic thing someone can do, and yet you go on sweeping. And Ralph was supposed to be the one sweeping for Dick.

My 2 theories why he continues to gunt guard:

1. Dick has done similar fucked up shit and wants to make it so what he did is acceptable so he won't get cancelled when it eventually comes out.

2. Dick hates Ralph's haters so much that he refuses to align himself with them.

I'm not sure what to make of this Ade character. I don't believe she's lying about everything, but its also pretty clear she's a jilted ex. She once drove through 4 states just to get a piece of the gunt herself, made an account here to spill goss, and is even teaming up with Ralph's "enemies" to do so. Unreliable narrators aside, Dick is probably making comparisons in his head to JLH's behavior which could explain the guntguarding.
