Did you guys see Mr. Robot?
I never finished it, but this scene stuck with me. Daemons run in the background, and perform actions without user interaction.
Ethanol Ralph has a very obvious daemon that presents itself whenever he feels even remotely slighted. I'm calling it GuntSmash.exe. The idea for this daemon came from hearing Kraut talk about the potential consequences that could come with publicly humiliating your girlfriend's father after he tried to stick up for his daughter. Think about how you would have handled that situation if you were in Ralph's shoes.
>I'm sorry you feel that way, sir. Why don't you drive over some time? Me and your daughter can talk with you over dinner. You'll find that I'm not so bad.
Nope, Ralph doesn't do that. He can't. GuntSmash.exe is installed deep within his brain-drive, and he doesn't even notice when it runs at all.
Same thing with that lady MMA fight promoter. She makes the mild transgression of calling Ralph "weird" and "hard to work with." Never mind that she was more complaining about Tonka than him. No, Ralph is slighted, and he must respond. How would you respond?

Nope, he brings his insult comic buddy Dick Masterson on, gets the Krew together, and spends 30 fucking minutes roasting her appearance. Bridge status, burned.

2: Hit slightee as hard as you possibly can, with whatever you possibly can.
3: Allow slightee to hit back as hard as he or she possibly can.
4: Make friends again.
This pattern played out with Warski, Rand, I'm not sure if he's done it to Dick before, I'm sure he does it to his mom and she probably taught this pattern to him.
If you listened to the conversation between him and Joshua on TDS, it played out exactly. First, Ralph makes it clear that he was insulted by the corn joke, then he calls Null a pedophile (something which Null sees as akin to putting a gun to someone's head and pulling the trigger), then he waits patiently to be hit back, Null doesn't respond at all, so he slurs out "weeeeeelll I'm glad we got that out of the way there hrrmrmlgrrrg..."
Que null going "what, you really expect me to forgive you after that? Seriously?"
It's a textbook daemon found in abusers. They act like normal people, usually even good and likable people, until the daemon boots up and suddenly it's as if they cannot act rationally at all. One of Rekieta's rogue's gallery, Ron Toye III, behaves the EXACT same way, and even seems to have been made aware of the daemon by his therapist. He's worth looking into if you are bored, his thread is a barrel of laughs. However, despite being aware of the daemon, he still can't seem to stop it from running.
