Did he ever give any explanation for this? It's like the one time I'm tempted to pozload my neghole.
@Sparkeltor 2.0 is correct, but Phil's stock explanation for the rocking is because his back hurts if he sits still for too long and the rocking helps.

Worth noting is that he has also said that he has always 'swayed' when speaking, to the point that people nicknamed him 'Sway' at some point. It's unclear if this is before or after one of the 5 different times he claims to have injured his back.

Also worth noting is that this makes no sense because he will rock like a fiend during prestream and anytime he is not visible (like that headphone unboxing where he didn't realize he was visible in the window reflection), but will not rock even when doing ask the king for hours on end. If he were in actual pain, he wouldn't be able to consciously throw this switch.

The reality is that it looks like this is a physical stim that he likes to do, but knows is bizarre. This is also why the camera is off for prestream even though it's the portion of his content that makes the most sense to actually have a webcam on - he wants to he able to wildly rock and not have to restrain himself. It is also commonly associated with autism, and I think there are a lot of indicators that suggest Phil is at least mildly touched by something that, as far as we know, wasn't diagnosed. This is probably the biggest indicator.

Because come on. Nobody rocks like that.

Stap making things up! He doesn't rock during the prestream. The mic is, um, blowing back and forth because he has the air conditioning on so high

Here's a link to the post that video is in

Tell me that the T-pose and the clowns hair don't look the same.

I also think this is evidence to the Greater DSP Performative Masculinity Theory. If he can control it so he only does it primarily when people can't see him that leads me to believe at one point he wasn't able to do that and had to learn, likely because people mocked him for it. Considering all the other things he also can control but does anyway (snorting, belching, bottle-crushing), I want to say that specifically he was given the impression that rocking was somehow a sissy or faggy thing to do. His masculinity was challenged and so he taught himself to stop when he was being watched or evaluated.

In the reddit post I found a comment that said he confirmed it in his pre-stream on the 5th may 2018 but Phil had a day off that day a saturday and wasn't streaming I cant find any mention of it in the prestreams on the 4th and the 6th. It might have been the night stream where he doesn't upload his pre-stream though but I would say its false. Or as Phil says "100% a lie"

[Edit I think I missed the part in the pre-stream they were talking about @Cistern Rumbler posted it below]

I'd also like to point out these 2 posts were minutes away from each other almost like its the same person behind both accounts but I could just be paranoid and seeing gay ops where there is nothing to see.

Phil would not be able to shut the fuck up about the time a stalker detractor tracked him and and his wife down in a store we would hear about it almost constantly if it were true.

And I'm sure someone would have backed up or archived Phil admitting this in his pre stream if it were true there is always an autist with a screen capture somewhere. There was no mention of it on twitter during those dates I checked some detractor accounts around those dates I lean towards this story is false guys.

Now is Phil still going to call me fucked in the head when my autistic detective skills exhonarate him? Yeah he probably will I mean I did photoshop a black hole onto his wife that one time.

Is it this?

@34:50, use adblock.

It sounds like he's lumping a bunch of IRL incidents together there, probably triggered by bumping into this Reddit guy. But he doesn't say anything about how he's the nicest guy away from streams or whatever so it might not be the one.

When I hover over the date on the initial reddit post made by otm_veal_shank it says its posted on the 5th may but that pre-stream is the 6th

Did his detractors discover timetravel am I being dumb again or is reddit broke?

That comment shows me the time around 4 in the morning, the 5th of May in GMT+0200. If that's correct then it probably means that they're talking about DSP's night stream, the 4th of May, which doesn't have an archived prestream.

If he's supposedly the nicest guy while he's away from streams, why is he so angry and toxic on stream? Shouldn't it be the opposite? I mean, one scenario is him in his own free time, free to act however he wants. The other is him "working" for his "business". If it were me, I'd try and be the nicest guy while working, not the other way around.

This dude did something that triggered Panda lee enough to break up with him. God knows what his life is like off camera.
Was it really something Phil did or was it all the things he didn't do?

He made Panda do all the chores and cooking. He didn't want to hang out with her friends. He didn't want to travel. He didn't want to have sex. He didn't want to marry her.

Just like everything else in his life, he put in the least amount of effort he thought was enough. Sadly for him, Panda didn't think it was enough.
