And while all this was happening, Ralph was profiting off jokes about Matt's flaggotry and degeneracy. What hypocrisy.

I wouldn't call Matt a martyr. I even think it's a stretch to say he's having a redemption arc. But when the internet has decided that the man who was burying him for years is a far greater asshole, I think he's due a victory lap or two.

And I say all this as a former fan. WN kooks aside, Ralph had a talent for booking some great guests. What immediately comes to mind is the black Israelites. The Branch Davidians were probably going to be a hoot too. I agree to some of the statement but it was and always will be about the money. After the first adpocolypse the skeptic sphere started to break down because people were getting pissy over who was first to market with a story to grab all the views, after they realized that monitization of political things was a no go they started to get into the livestream aspect to collect super chats which spawned the concept of blood sports. When everyone was making money nobody cared to fight with each other and were actually networking with others.

It's rinse and repeat but this time around people are on alt-platforms and then NP2 goes down so now people are pissed and at war with each other over it.
