I'm just disappointed so many people get their politics from cartoons. I'm not surprised, just disappointed....

We were doomed when parents let their kids watch toy commercials with morality lessons, sure at the time it seemed nice and convenient for captain planet to tell you polluting was bad but it got parents to get used to having their kids learn from entertainment. You also have a generation of people who have so little going on in their lives that the only way they can form an opinion is through media. Think about it how will you form an opinion on Mexico if you don't go there or talk to someone who lives there, you get it through media. So instead of going with your church to build a small town a few houses and learning that the cartel is waiting for you to leave to take the houses as their own you just see your favorite show have a character who is from Mexico and wont shut up about how amazing it is compared to the U.S.
