My personal gripe with lolicon is that its a very American centric view. It has the highest AOC in the world and forces its local laws onto places on the other side of the world. the aoc discussion is kind of irrelevant here imo since its about drawings of people under aoc and that can be more universal even if the aocs are different, the issue is less having a stylized drawing not based on any real child (which i dont have the credentials or knowledge to really examine the ethics of) its that instead of letting something stay on the fringes of society, where it might not even belong but where it at most belongs, they instead want to normalize it so they can get a more stable fix.
