What pisses me off is that people usually dismiss this with "Well the tags are autosuggested". Which is true, but if you're shaking so badly you can't type properly, you'll probably fuck up the tag before selecting the right one.
EDIT: Regarding that "cis people list"
I take great issue with those because they only encourage people to try and be trans to fit in, and they do have the potential to upset people and it continues to show the lack of actual respect tumblr users have for other causes. If a person is cis and has terrible anxiety, paranoia, or depression, reading statements saying that they are a piece of garbage will hurt them. But you never see these posts tagged. You do see accidental misgendering, transmedicalism, and general drama tagged, though. I wonder what would happen if you confronted one of these tumblr users over this. Usually they laugh in your face if you tell them that their cis people jokes hurt their feelings, but if you told them you were asking out of your own ~disprivilege~, would they actually care to change their tune?
They're outlandish jokes and they're said knowing that they're outlandish jokes, but being trans absolves them of all responsibility. But if you made outlandish jokes about anything else remotely offensive, they jump on you. People give you smug side-eye smirks when you say it, but it really is not unlike racist, sexist, and other -ist mentalities.
