Community Tard Baby General (includes brain dead kids) - Fundies and their genetic Fuckups; Parents of corpses in denial

Well fuck me...I'm going to have some weird-ass dreams tonight... :cryblood:
Same here. Decided to take a look right before bed. I didn’t quite make it to the end. The ones at the beginning look like someone tried sculpting faces but didn’t actually know what a human face was.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned before but what even is the life span of babies born with anencephaly? Is it even longer than a year?

I mean, not having a brain sounds like a serious impediment to long term survival

So exactly what I expected. That Facebook page is pretty much a memorial page. Some of the parents in this thread are able to keep their kids going for several years (for better or for worse...), but I just don’t understand bringing to term a child if you know about the anencephaly and and that they have no chance of living more than a few days. Though I guess having a support group while going though that isn’t the worst thing. It just feels uncomfortable seeing them share pics of the babies and coo over how cute they are.

You know, social media has done a lot to bring together women who have lost babies in a really positive way. It used to be taboo and hushed up but now they can find solidarity and support with each other. I don’t even mind when they post photos of their (full term) stillborn babies so that people can say how beautiful they are.

I do mind when I see photos of aborted and malformed foetuses wrapped up in blankets and bows. Jesus fuck. That’s the problem with Mommy groups, they start getting competitive and a bit too desperate for validation.

I kinda get it, usually, with everything but anencephaly. There's no such thing as a miracle anencephalic baby. They just die.

And who the fuck posed their dead baby with the Seven Dwarves that's just fucking creepy.

First, you're fucking awesome for sharing these. They are fascinating. The last one actually made me queasy and I've been through this entire thread and back. Please continue to share what you find!

It's so fascinating how these mutations develop, and why so many varying ones in humans? I was wondering that this morning - why do we see so many severely mutated humans whereas you rarely ever see them in animals? Aside from them dying before we ever discover them. Maybe I'm not looking into animal mutations enough lol.

Anyway, the anencephaly warrior mom thing is weird to me. Is it "It's not for the weak" because it's a traumatic experience? What's there to be proud of? You birthed a mutant.

I also wonder what the rate of mutations and birth defects in animals are compared to humans. I feel like it might be similar. But at least in the wild, animals don't have modern medicine like we do and if a baby is born non-viable, it will just die and be left behind. It may be eaten by it's parent or some other animal. So you don't see them as often. In captivity people try to keep them alive more often. I know in reptiles like snakes apparently two headed ones grow up just fine in captivity as long as they eat properly.

It's honestly kind of fascinating if not a little sad what can happen when genetics don't work properly. It's just a little more difficult to look at sometimes when it's a human, imo.

Most likely they die, are killed by the mother, or just abandoned. Nature understands don't waste resources on something that isn't going to live, or doesn't have the best chance of survival. Live stock is something to look into. Sheep have twins a lot of the time and if one is deformed they will shrug off the loss and favor the normal lamb. Even if say the other lamb is able to nurse, she will still favor the more sound one.

Heck, I believe I read an article way back about piebald bucks not being able to breed because they while yes a normal deer just oddly colored that doe would run from them even if they won the fight and by deer logic were the "Superior" male and his genetics should be carried on.

We are the only thing in this world to keep our fuck ups alive, hell we even keep other animals fuck ups alive....its that damn morality and God complex! "I can fix it! "I can save it!" And so on.

These bitches are literally playing with dead children, trying to pose them to look cute when there's not an ounce of life left in them. For fucksakes, one of them is a literal blue baby.

Cyanosis is B E A U T I F U L.

Humans used to do this too. Like if you're in medieval Ireland and your baby isn't quite right then you talk about how they stepped into the faerie circle and then just leave them in the woods and everyone understands.

I also ran across some cool baptismal formulas for baptizing "monsters" which is generally what they were called. They blamed birth defects on the woman being scared by an animal though.

You also get different mutations in animals than you would humans due to differences in development. For example, it's not terribly rare to birth a two-headed snake whereas it's incredibly rare in humans. I've seen like 4 or 5 this hatching season alone. And plenty of breeders either dont cut eggs or don't investigate as to why the baby didn't make it. It's also hard to tell if an egg has stopped developing, cause then they just go bad before you know it.

Probably microplastics. The same shit turnin' the frickin' frogs gay. Reptiles and amphibians are really sensitive to it for some reason.

Humans not so much, but there's been a massive increase in birth defects that's coming from somewhere and it's not late maternal age.

There's just so many things wrong with this image that it's making my heart level drop to :heart-empty:... :(

I think the jaunty little hat is next level macabre.

It would almost be OK if people did that shit to actual live newborns... but the idea of throwing a birthday party (because it’s the only birthday party a dead baby will get) is so sad and so weird.
