There exist veterans and soldiers who believe Saddam Hussein didn't need to be taken down, and that Ghaddafi had some good ideas. Being a veteran doesn't mean automatically siding with every retarded conflict the government throws human bodies at. I'd go so far as to say if in 2020 you still have an actual hatred of Hitler, you're just being propagandized.

This is such a bizarre spiral now. There's a lot to this whole drama, but wasn't it Ralph originally who brought up Josh being a pedophile? It is an Australian Defence Force thing, tied into the whole ANZAC stuff. It is not something I'd expect an outsider to understand and it has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with incidents during WW2 and general treatment of diggers by AXIS forces. Being part of that culture means certain grudges are hard drilled into you and are very much a part of that culture, and certain actions undertaken by members or former members are very much taboo and have resulted in fights and serious injury. Stealing from fellow diggers, acts of disunity (sleeping with another blokes wife) and praising what gets referred to as the enemy are things which will set off bad feelings that can lead to violence amongst servicemen and veterans. Again it is all Australian Armed Services/ANZAC stuff.

I think it's because;
- 1) Dick is arguing the pro-pedo position and ralph avows the party-line like a good little guntboi,
- 2) Ralph is scared of people backlashing with "child bride" and "jerking off to soph" and the emotions this will evoke in his gunt,
- 3) Josh got Dick to admit that only Ralph went to "pedo" as an accusation when Ralph and Josh fought on dicks podcast some months ago and Dick flat out said that Ralph got upset, and Ralph really struggles with admitting even the slightest annoyance with anything, regardless of how blatantly obvious it is to absolutely everyone.
