Something that Chantal has mentioned in the last few live streams, and constantly in the past, is IBS. Her history of self diagnosed IBS is a perfect example of just how unintelligent Chantal really is.
first and foremost, IBS is a chronic illness that is not typically triggered by food choices (spicy food for example does not trigger flair ups). Mostly women suffer from it, and there are loose associations between IBS and anxiety/depression. There is not much known about the causes of IBS, nor is there much in the way of treating it. To be diagnosed, typically one must consult a specialist, and get ultrasounds, allergy tests, and fecal analysis done to rule out other illnesses.
Those suffering from it, have what is often referred to as a spastic colon. Their GI tract does not function properly, and can either result in chronic debilitating diarrhea, constipation, or a combination of the two.
Really the only things available to combat it is over the counter anti diarrheal drugs or laxatives. Exercise and a healthy
lifestyle is also recommended.
The fact that Chantal eats nothing but fast food and sodium in shocking quantities, yet magically equates her shits to IBS floors me every time. A normal person who over indulges in McDonald’s will get the shits, let alone someone eating four servings of it FOR ONE MEAL.
She doubles down on her suffering when she flip flops and eats nothing but veggies in a “healthy” phase. Anyone will tell you, an overnight change in diet that includes more plants and fiber can result in a week or so of diarrhea until you GI tract adjusts to the new food choices.
I get the sense that she has yet to make the connection between her lifestyle and her ungodly bathroom habits- which is depressingly stupid. In her mind, she has constant diarrhea therefor a google search tells her IBS. Poor Chantal, more rotten luck.
Nothing irks me more than people who self diagnose themselves with major illnesses, especially when their symptoms are 100% self imposed and can be reversed. It is insulting to individuals who genuinely suffer from illnesses like this, who have no options other than managing their pain and other symptoms.
But who knows, maybe Chantal does have IBS, but my money is on the Taco Bell.
