Listened to the clip yesterday. I'm with Dick on many of the issues mentioned, with Null on a few, but the biggest takeaway for me was that that was the first time I had really heard The Dick Show in months (outside of some of the clips they upload to their YouTube channel), and I don't think I care about it anymore.

The Maddox/Dick drama was great because we knew both parties and it was very clear one of them was in the right. Maddox is immensely hateable and everyone wanted him to lose. But since that's ended the show has devolved into much less interesting e-drama involving players I don't know or do know and don't care about. (Ralph is the perfect example. I can skip a thread about him here. I have to suffer through it in the show.)

I appreciate Dick's willingness to engage with various weirdos because he thinks it's funny. I even appreciate his impulse to kick every hornet's nest of weirdness he finds. That level of ensuing chaos can be great fun, and he seems to love it.

But what that inevitably devolves into has proven to be pretty tiresome. None of the weird fanbase infighting is even a little bit interesting to me, and neither is the drama behind the scenes that people won't shut the fuck up about. (If I have to hear about Mint Salad again, Jesus Christ...) And, again, e-figures like Ralph are obnoxious, unimportant people, and they've been obnoxious and unimportant for years, and I don't need to hear any more about them. I definitely don't need to listen to a podcast telling me all about what's happening in their lives.

It sucks. I miss Dick and Sean's voices in my ears, but it seems like nothing they're talking about is worth listening to.
