The biggest possible disappointment you'll face this year is Biden winning the election, which is still possible. The biggest unknown is the biological aspects of Corona virus. The biggest risk you face is a possible job loss (depending on your job), and a disruption in the food supply.

Of all those things, you can ignore most of them and prepare for the others. Stock up 30 days of food, have a Plan B for your career, and be prepared to shoot a looter, no matter what their skin color is.

If anyone wants a plan of action and feels the need to DO SOMETHING, dox the fuckers. Justice and consequences both require information. Don't get caught up in the need to personally be the instrument of justice.

I agree the doomerism gets intense. I suppose it is because everyone here is at least somewhat aware of the "Domino Theory" of the USSR and think that these west coast cities are "win or lose" scenarios.

We are simply hyper focused and over thinking the situation. In the heat of the moment I forgot that "mobs are not armies." Mobs need a unifying object to hate. They need momentum. They need the emotion running high.

Once those things start disappearing, the mob breaks down. Then AntiFa will fade away once again.

People are finally waking up to the fact that these same people that have been funding the media partisanship and these seedy movements are the same people that have been really trying to suppress that information.

Of course though a lot of the stuff I see on my feed has been directed towards the God Emperor, but despite whether or not the God Emperor has direct involvement with that shit on that island (even though it's been debunked). It is still good entertainment watching the normies start to get spooked from the things that have been terrifying the fuck out of me since the early 2010's. I am just surprised it took until this specific year, during the pandemic for this type of mass LARP to occur, and for this long as well. I agree with your take. We’re getting all riled up because we know that someone somewhere is pulling some shenanigans and it looks to the public like they’re getting away with it. When this thread goes from philosophical discussions about race and politics to ”America for whites” it’s a sign that we’ve all been caged up too long.

Re: American decline, the (first) Pax Americana may be over, but America is likely a regional power on the scale of Russia or China: large, politically and economically viable, and capable of pursuing autarky; we got a global empire despite not wanting it, tried to share Jeffersonian democracy with an unimpressed world, and are now trying to figure out how to disengage with an unappreciative world until strife wakes us again. Police chiefs aren't kneeling in the street, whites aren't washing black activist's feet, CHAZ is gone, no more precincts have been burned.

The protests died down, and the die-hard anarchists are the ones left in mobs, constrained to certain cities. They're just spitting out horrifying images that can fill our screens, because our screens are small and focused.

The people I know IRL who forcefully argued about this with me, who personally went to an actual peaceful protest because they were shocked by the Floyd video, haven't been to a protest since the first week of June. They aren't part of the army. They still think everything is racist, but they aren't cancelling anyone and they're uncomfortable whenever I bring up the riots.

Every now and then someone pops into this thread and says "OMG this is still going on?!?" That's how little impact it has on normal people's lives. They're right to be shocked it's lasting this long--a normal eruption of emotion and anger should have died out by now. But it did die out. The normies went back to work.

Botswana in particular is very wealthy, well-educated and stable - it's been a stable democracy since independence in 1966, has very good relations with its white Anglo and Afrikaner minorities (they (and Zambia) even took in and provided land to a great number of whites who were forced off their farms by Bobby Mugabe's thugs), has modern housing and is ranked highly on the Human Development Index.
